Basic bind off

From BluWiki

This is the simplest form of the bind off, and it's the one most people learn first, but it does tend to give a very tight edge.

You start by knitting two stitches.

Insert the left hand needle into the first stitch that you knit, the one furthest from the point.

Pull that stitch up and over the stitch nearer to the point and over the tip of the right hand needle.

Drop it down into the work.

The video for doing this is here.
