Chainki is an open content directory of web links, based on the Open Directory Project but using a wiki to allow people to change the data.
The site was started in July 2006.
According to the website, the dmoz database from which they run gives the site a start of 686,740 articles and 4,683,824 links.
Chainki was founded and is run by Hugh Prior.
