Here are today's lies, misstatements, disinformation, and stupidity:
(1) Daryl Bradford Smith goes on to attack John Carlson [1], saying he has been "black mamba-ed," whatever that means? What the fuck is the "black mamba"? Oh, it's Daryl!
(2) Daryl Bradford Smith says that if he makes a mistake, he will "mea culpa immediately." This whole Web site is dedicated to mistakes made on The French Connection, but Daryl Bradford Smith will not admit that he is wrong. He is genetically incapable to admit wronghead.
(3) Daryl Bradford Smith says that all of the leaders of the UFO movement are Jewish. He's quick to amend his statement by evoking his alliance with R' Dovid Weiss to ward off accusations of anti-Semitism, but I'm not buying. Everytime he rails against Jews, he brings up R' Weiss.
(4) According to Daryl Bradford Smith, George W. Bush is homosexual and Dick Cheney and Barney Frank are pedophiles. He says he has evidence. Does he offer it up? Of course not.
(5) Wayne Kyle comes in, and he was apparently a shipman on the U.S.S. America on the day of the attack on the U.S.S. Liberty. Kyle states, correctly, that when the Liberty radioed that America that they were under attack, they scrambled F4s to prevent further attack. However, these planes were recalled once it revealed that the Israelis had attacked the Liberty mistakenly. Kyle and Daryl Bradford Smith both claim that this was treason, but neither of them had the necessary information to know why the F4s were recalled.
(6) After the break, Daryl Bradford Smith reports that Lt. Cmdr James Ennes will not be able to come on that day. He will eventually appear on January 5, 2006, and you should go to that interview to read better refutation of the Liberty myth.
(7) Kyle floats several theories that are unprovable, the most prominent among them that the Israelis had a full strike force ready to board the Liberty, machine-gun the crew, load the boat with C4, and sink it. There is no evidence to suggest this was the plan for the Liberty. At best, Kyle is speculating.
(8) A caller, "Mike," calls in to debunk the idea that the Arab states were pawns of the Soviet Union. He claims that the Meir-Kaganovich pact insured that the Soviet Union was actually the ally of Israel. He claims that Zionism and Bolshevism are two arms of the same operation. He claims all this despite the fact that Natan Sharansky was jailed for Zionist activity and Zionism was illegal in the USSR after Stalin's 1952 declaration of Jews as "rootless cosmopolitans." He claims all this despite the fact that by 1967, Stalin was dead and Kaganovich had been purged by Khrushchev. He claims all this despite the fact that Kaganovich had no authority to conclude pacts or treaties. In 1948, Kaganovich was heading the communist party in Ukraine; Molotov was still foreign minister in 1948.
