Goals of Kalamazoo Counseling Association
- To promote and advance the interests of individuals engaged in counseling, therapy, guidance, and related services within the Kalamazoo area.
- To provide an organization through which those engaged in counseling, therapy, guidance, and related services can exchange ideas, seek solutions to common problems, and stimulate professional growth.
- To recommend and support standards of professionalism within the organization.
- To promote awareness of counseling services within the Kalamazoo area.
- To conduct activities designed to promote the professional development of members.

What We Do
The Kalamazoo Counseling Association does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, creed, sexual/affectional orientation, disability, or ethnic origin. The Kalamazoo Counseling Association hosts a spring and fall breakfast forum for mental health professionals with a featured presenter. These are held in May and September. Prominent speakers present on topics related to professional growth and development for psychotherapists and counselors working in private practice, agencies and educational settings.
