The Brotherhood. The Brotherhood is an organization mostly composed of good-aligned non-humanoid intelligent creatures. They have determined that great evil is again arising throughout the land, and are taking steps to combat it. This resistance takes many forms, but a noteable one is the cultivation and recruitment of heroes. Volidar Stormblade and Poto Knezer both are agents of the Brotherhood. Volidar has taken it upon himself to stay near the RDI in Orussus and learn about the heroes who frequent the reknowned inn. He identifies ones who could work with the brotherhood on particular adventures, and sometimes recruits them.

Volidar Stormblade recruited the halfling rogue Talbin for S2: War in the Vastermarch.
