Literalists maintain that the title Books of Boing, given to the canonical Swampthing texts, is correct and exactly as it should be. They hold that the title carries significant esoteric meaning and that dedicated vegitation on this name shall bring valuable insight to the serious student.

While I consider myself a literalist and believe that Swampthing did originally use the title Books of Boing, there seem to be evidence that it was in fact Toadfish, Swampthing's prime disciple, who first suggested the title. Few other literalists agree with me on this.
