Daryl Bradford Smith had on veteran liar Israel Shamir Israel Shamir [1] today (a man who has vilified yours truly [2]). Here were the boners du jour:

(1) Daryl Bradford Smith repeats his allegations in this broadcast that "Zionists" are responsible for 100,000,000 deaths during the 20th century. Where he gets this figure I don't know, but he seems to be conflating Zionism and communism, which is a tenuous connection at best. Stalin's régime, which took millions of lives, was primarily anti-Zionist and, as such, repressed Jew and Gentile alike.

(2) During his conversation with Israel Shamir, Daryl Bradford Smith repeats allegations about the Zohar, the holy book of Kabbalah. He says the Zohar is denigrating to the goyim, but he doesn't cite any specific texts therein, which is telling.

(3) Daryl Bradford Smith then lists a number of people he claims are Jewish: Trotsky (as if we didn't know, though he says he and Eric Hufschmid "proved it"); John Kerry (of patrilineal Jewish descent, but raised Catholic); Hillary Clinton (not Jewish, but had a Jewish stepfather); Sumner Redstone (Jewish, but who he insists changed his name from Rabinowitz -- he changed it from Rothstein, which is German for "red stone"); and Scooter Libby (who he claims, without evidence, changed his name from "Irving Liebowitz").

(4) It was not illegal in the Soviet régime to ask a person if they were Jewish. In fact, as Jews were declared a national minority, they had their ethnic heritage listed in their passports.
