"The Motoko brigade shall reign supreme over all with our superior sword and magic techniques.... whom shall join us?"

On March 8th, 2004, the Motoko Brigade thread was created by Helsmar. It was soon joined by Xen gK, drh, Mibuwolf, Happy Hydralisk, and MadCow809.

In early May, the Motoko Brigade faced a recession...
"I am gonna PM Hydra and Fanboy. Gonna start the Motoko Brigade again."
And thus, on May 13, 2004, MadCow809 created the "???? ??????? Brigade" (Aoyama Motoko aoyama motoko Brigade)in a different thread to attract more members.
It was soon joined by Happy Hydralisk, Tulkas, and Ryo Misaki... however it soon died out after only 4 pages due to lack of support, and the fact that nobody could read the Japanese Title.

The original thread still continued on, however, with MadCow809 as the official Leader of the Motoko Brigade. War continued to rage with the Naru Brigade as RP battles with Zap, Naru_Urashima, and Naruisdabest. This battle later died out with no clear victor.

Activity picked back up in August, as Wolfie picks up the brigade again in MadCow's absence. In November of 2004, Wolfie officially becomes the new Leader of the Motoko Brigade.
Membership increases again as several new recruits come in. Arii Maehara, Hanku Royiaki, Kiatsu, Z741, and Fuzzy join the brigade.

Around October 2005, Ryo Misaki takes unofficial leadership of the brigade. Several new members join, activity picks up, and a final push is made for a Subforum.
On November 6th, 2005, the Motoko Brigade is officially a Subforum Brigade, and Ryo Misaki becomes the official Leader.

Unfortunately, Ryo disappears from the forums by the end of the year.
In January 2006, Setsuna Sakurazaki (Keiha Urashima) picks up leadership of the brigade, with Z741 as second in command.

On October 25th, after Necrisis arranged organization, Keiranto became the new official leader of the Motoko Brigade.

Shortly into Keiranto's term of office The Motoko Brigade Championship was Started to determine the strongest Warrior currently in the brigade. The rounds started as simply Nakakami Seno, Ryo Misaki Grey Fox and Keiranto with Z741 serving as the judge for each match Seno Defeated Misaki and Fox Bested Keiranto at first but then the structure underwent a change as additional warriors appeared, Grey Fox took charge of monitoring the competitions growth and subsequently split the first and second groups into divisons to keep forward momentum and the later parties were then split apart again. Seno was forced to discontinue his participation and Ammaranth took his place to fight Grey Fox in Semi finals, t0k0l0v3r, before and after becoming leader, entered fighting mastershake and and Evangeline-shinso chan fighting Balmung, an outsider participating in the championship by special request from Grey Fox. Those 4 were divison 2.

Currently Balmung is waiting for a victor of either t0k0 or shake to fight after defeating Shinso-chan and Grey Fox is close to securing a finals position.

On 07-18-2007, 09:31 PM, Keiranto stepped down and appointed t0k0l0v3r the new leader. Though modship was not tansferred until4 months when Grey Fox Requested that the admins do so by way of the Brigade leaders room.

t0k0l0v3r is still the current MB leader.

It exists to ensure the completion of all Motoko Brigade projects and growth.

Project Knightfall is used in order to list area's needing work.

The Motoko Brigade Championship

As described above the winner is crowned motoko's champion.

Project tanned Motoko

On 01-08-2007 Keiranto announced this project, to see what Motoko would look like with a tan. It is a project in alliance with the NBTC (nyamo brigade of tanned cuties). This project is still running and Keiranto offers both NBTC and Motoko brigade promotions for succesful entries.
