Samskrita Sangha:Samskriti 2006

Let us start writing article for Samskriti 2006. Please mail your submissions to either me (karthik@rishi.serc) or prasad (hlprasu@ee). We plan to soon prepare some guidelines for typesetting devanagari.

I am just quickly writing this up, so that the wheel is set in motion. We will soon send out a more organised mail and of course a broadcast detailing what is to be done. We should ideally have several categories of articles.

[edit] Online publishing and printing

Firstly, we plan to put the articles online (right here). We will decide about a print issue by October or so and have a grand Deepavali release, if we have sufficient articles of good quality (no, we are not going to have the active members painstakingly populate the magazine with articles). Samskrita Bharati has promised us assitance in anything we need.

• Articles in English (apart from the editorial preface or annotation to a Samskrit article) are seriously discouraged.
