From BluWiki

I'm not the GNAA

Metropolis : I'm not in the GNAA. I guess you could just buy a URL and host a picture there? The difficulty is anonymising your website details!

I 'contributed' to that site... I hope my contribution was OK? If not, you can remove the goatse picture :) --Shocker 16:41, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

no vandalism

I don't have time to deal with this stuff. Any future vandalism from the following users or on the following pages will be blocked:

Do Not Remove or vandalize the Mature Template on Shock Sites

I host bluwiki. I run the server that distributes the content on this page. If you can't respect my wishes, go somewhere else.

According to US Law, it is now illegal to mislead visitors into clicking links that direct them to sites "constituting obscenity" or that have material "harmful to minors." The template I put it on Shock Sites is meant to warn visitors of the content you're linking to, and to protect BluWiki (and its users) from the possibility of legal action.

If it doesn't stay up, I could be fined, or even imprisoned. This is why I'm asking you to please respect the work I have put into this site, and leave it there. --Sam Odio 10:40, 5 April 2007 (EDT)

While it's definately necessary to have said template on the "Shock Sites" page, I hardly think the Olde Crew's page qualifies, unless I'm mistaken. Am I? ~MF 18:35, 7 May 2007 (EDT)

Stuff

Apologies for the Lolfish audio file if it caught you out - I didn't realise it was there (for some reason my computer doesn't play the sound?). The fact I use firefox *might* be something to do with it. It also seem that audio file is hosted elsewhere for some reason?--Shocker 19:26, 7 April 2007 (EDT)

Re: Holy Crap!!! (Honey Pot) {Relax}

The Honey Pot Just Takes Your Ip Adddress and Places it in the Email Field, and Also Places a Time Stamp... thers nothing to worry about

  • sspmxxxx_yy.yyy.yyy.yy_07-04-21@bluwiki.com
    • Y = Ip address

--KaiAdin 09:54, 21 April 2007 (EDT)

Yep, that's all it does - just display your IP in the form of a mailto link. The IP info isn't collected on the server with that script. This way, when I go through my mail server logs, I can search for "sspm" and know which IPs are trolling BluWiki for email addresses. When these bots harvest addresses and email bluwiki.com, they give themselves away! --Sam Odio 10:02, 21 April 2007 (EDT)
Oh I Think Metropolisforever wants to know what it does. From what I know, a Honeypot is basically a trap for Spamming Bots (Web Crawlers that search for email addresses to spam), it basically looks like an email address but leads to nowhere, the theory being that spammers think they can use a honeypot to relay spam to other emails but instead they are stopped as it isn't a working email relay, or something like that eh you'd better see Wikipedia:Honeypot (computing) for More Info --KaiAdin 10:10, 21 April 2007 (EDT)

Reversion

Why did you revert my changes on Shock Sites? I think arranging it like that would be more organized (since we've got some stuff on there that are just mirrors or variations of other sites) Kkyuubi 09:21, 22 April 2007 (EDT)

Japanese Wikipedia

Its probably the style of English you use, or maybe that you used English at aLL, since their main language is Japanese.

Finding out your service provider is actually quite easy, its appended to the data thats sent to their server, you can check whats there at http://noreply.org... usually the name of the provider and what country you are from is sent every time you visit a site. --KaiAdin 07:02, 4 May 2007 (EDT)

User:210.212.242.99 and LOOOOVER

Lol, yea I deleted that before I remember, but looking at the links and the deleted History it seemed that the user was just making a lists of his favorite links on several different pages, even Sam blocked and unblocked User:210.212.242.99 twice! (SEE [1]) and the user actually also has an account Prabhuleo_durai but hardly ever logs in and edits with it.

Hes pretty harmless and its not Spam per se, so its alright to leave his pages up. --KaiAdin 15:38, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

Video Game Olde Crew

There nothing truly mature there at Video Game Olde Crew, I don't really think the mature template is really necessary, all they talk about is their partys, Ice Cream Rocky and Silly (In a funny way) math how to figure out Douche Radiation, sure its like 14+ but not that bad needing an 18+ rating. --KaiAdin 06:57, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

Template:Username

Oh, I wouldn't have a clue, I'm no expert on wikisyntax.. you might want to consult wikipedia on how to make use of templates/strings, or maybe ask Sam. --KaiAdin 02:26, 17 May 2007 (EDT)

I think it's to do with the template being there (Wikipedia doesn't have a template for it, so it's probably a Magic Word (see metawiki) - I'll try blanking the page, but it might need deleting. Trying now. Microchip08 07:54, 17 May 2007 (EDT).
Nope, Crystal Clear action button cancel.png Not done!. Doesn't work on Wikipedia, either.
Sorry! I thought you'd be amused!. Microchip08 14:16, 2 July 2007 (EDT)

Riki - Oh

Have you seen this film? I have the DVD - it is shocking in a comical sort of way - especially the end with the 'boss'!

I also like the part at the end, where he punches the wall (which begins to collapse just before his fist actually touches it) --Shocker 17:42, 20 May 2007 (EDT)

SPAM

I let this slide before, and even though its not a 'real' spam page, it could attract real spammers, and (mainly) just looks silly and ugly, I'm deleting the links, and I'm considering deleting the page, maybe make it an article about spam, and maybe place some indication this is an 'example' of a spam page. --KaiAdin 23:16, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

ALASKANBLACKSNAKE

It seems that the picture is NOT available on my computer, but you have still found it on yours. I think, it is in your webcache - so once it is gone, it will be gone forever. Any chance you could save it, and host it somewhere? It sounds like it would be a good picture to troll a forum with :D

P.S. Check out my revisions to pressurespot.com!

PPS congrats on the new shock site! That picture is particularly sick, and I never noticed the cigarette before! --Shocker 16:46, 3 July 2007 (EDT)

Show The Love

Do you think it is time we do a major cleanup of the page?. I don't mind if you remove some of the excessive smileys - as long as I can remove most of your ones too?. The page is so big, we should try to make it easier to read! :) :D :P ;) ;D ^_^ O_O :-) (:=D :O ^_- --+-+--O--+-+-- --Shocker 16:19, 4 July 2007 (EDT)

???

I was trying to move it to the 'illegal shock sites' section, but then found the section didn't exist. Then my computer couldn't access Bluwiki for ages, and I wasn't going to try modifying it while at work :D

re: Please Protect my User Page

Yep, I protected all the listed pages (User:Metropolisforever+User talk:Metropolisforever+Talk:Shock Sites) from anon edits and blocked for a period User:Oragasmatron 1973 for Harassment and Vandalism. --KaiAdin 17:29, 17 August 2007 (EDT)

Touugh ive blocked him and many of his other pages... maybe you shouldn't antagonize him, buy ridiculing him on Shocksites, maybe then hes stop vandlaising pages? --KaiAdin 18:05, 19 August 2007 (EDT)

Jenkem.org shock sites list

Hey Metropolisforever. I know you didnt give me permission to recreate the shock sites list, but its kinda public domain now, due to the big interest in it. Lets talk about this so we can find a solution (which may or may not be me taking the page down. Email me at matiovSPAM[AT]hotmailSPAMDOTcom. Ravo 5002 03:22, 27 August 2007 (EDT)

Metropolisforever, If there's a problem with BluWiki's spam filter that is preventing you from hosting your page, let me know and I can help out. --Sam Odio 15:18, 27 August 2007 (EDT)
