About Wendy's

Wendy's Restaurant is one of the most instantly recognizable brands in the world. When you hear Wendy's, you hear specific food items, the voice of Dave Thomas, and the iconic photo of Wendy on all the Wendy's signs throughout the world. There's very little left to the imagination when it comes to this American fast food favorite. Like most restaurants, the legend of Wendy's is grounded solidly in its unique fast food menu. It's not gourmet fare, but it has been one of America's favorite burger places since November 16, 1969.

Wendy's is all about the food. Almost everyone has heard of their "have it your way" slogan, and that's exactly what they practice each year. The customer selects what they want on a single, double, or triple Wendy's burger and they get it served just that way. Even when ordering other sandwiches with a pre-set list of ingredients, the customer has the freedom to ask for items to be removed or added to the sandwiches. This was one of the distinctions of Wendy's winning recipe in the beginning and it turned out to be a big draw. It still is.

Wendy's loves to introduce new burgers routinely. There's rarely ever a time when you can't find some new menu item being added for a limited time, and you can bet that the majority of these inventions are heavily loved and will return at a later date to make customers happy yet again.

Now Serving Breakfast

Breakfast is a new attraction at Wendy's. It has only been around for a short while, but people are already enjoying Wendy's breakfasts just as much as they do the legendary McDonald's breakfasts everyone on earth is familiar with.

The Commercials

Wendy's introduced a commercial in January of 1984 that is still being quoted in pop culture today. The "Where's the beef" commercials were, and are, one of the most famous set of television commercials in history. Wendy's is most definitely associated with this iconic phrase year-round. Commercials featuring Wendy's founder Dave Thomas also made a popular impression on the world when they were on air for many years.

Wendys Hamburgers

Have it your way is another of Wendy's famous slogans. Their current campaign is "You can't fake real" and features many real life videos of people encountering humorous or confusing situations. This has been a big hit with modern-day fans that can't get enough of real-life videos.

WendyMail

Customers that are interested in promotional e-mail offers from Wendy's will be pleased to know that something called WendyMail is available at all hours of the day and night. By signing up for an account online, fans of Wendy's can receive coupons and discounts directly from the fast food giant.

Local Coupons

Local newspaper usually run many Wendy's advertisements as they appear throughout the year. Wendy's is one of the most generous restaurants for handing out coupons to loyal customers. Their everyday value menu has every price set at, you guessed it: one dollar. There are no coupons required to get these offers every day.

Wendy's has a rich history in the American fast food industry and continues to dominate most of its competition by continuously updating its menu to reflect the modern cravings of the world. As tastes change, Wendy's always seems to change with them, introducing fresh menu items that appeal to young and old.

Wendy's has come a long way since 1969, and the world has changed right along with Wendy's. The diversity of the Wendy's menu, along with its appeal to people of all ages, make Wendy's the kind of restaurant that promises to never go away.
