Samskrita Sangha is a cultural body of the students, staff and faculty of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The Sangha, which has been an active body for more than two decades, aims at promoting a better understanding and awareness of Indian Culture and Heritage. The main activities of the Sangha are in the following three areas:

  • Samskrit Language and Literature.
  • Indian Culture and Traditions.

The Sangha conducts talks and lectures by eminent scholars and professionals, spoken Samskrit workshops, literary competitions and cultural programmes.
