Startup School Reception

Want to combine this with the reception they're going to have? Or possibly all go there together after the dinner? -Mooneer

The Startup School / YC reception is by invitation only. There's limited space at their offices, so I doubt they'll want anyone showing up who wasn't invited. We should probably have two dinners, and we can all meet after for drinks. --Sam Odio 09:42, 15 March 2007 (EDT)

I haven't heard anything about a startup school reception? Can someone expand on this? - Jay

Invites were sent out this evening. Not sure how the list was put together. I am interviewing with my team in 2 weeks, so that's one possible reason why I got an invite to the reception.

Saturday, March 24th

Startup School, of course!; 9am till 5:30

Find out who's attending on facebook.

super happy dev house; 1pm till 1am

Those should be GREAT. see more @ http://shdh.org. For an idea of what this is like, check out SHDH on flickr. If you're going, be sure to RSVP on upcoming.org.

Tom Music: "As Mooneer mentions below, going to SHDH as a group (using Sam's van) might be a good idea. My only caveat is my required return time; I'm staying in Palo Alto, and will need to check out of my hotel Sunday morning and get to SJC by 10:00am.
Does anyone else have timing preferences, and does this jive?"

  • Sam Odio - I'll have a car, and probably some free seats. Call if you need a ride (703.725.6442)
  • Omar Bohsali
  • Matt Wensing
  • Nate Clark... maybe?
  • Tom Music -- Probably attending, especially if I hire a car.
  • Mooneer Salem -- let's all go there together?
  • Vincent Woon - Anyone wants to carpool with me?
