Template talk:Tl

Sometimes we want to use a template; other times, we just want to talk about it or refer to it. {{tl}} is a nifty little device for creating a clickable link to a template page that can also be copied directly from the page where it appears. This is a bit more convenient than opening such a page for editing.

The only parameter is the name of the template. This is assumed to be in Template: namespace, so don't write it out in full:

Just use the name of the template page.

In general, any time that you want to refer to template, use the form {{templatedemo}}. You might also write:

which would render as Template:Templatedemo; but the weakness here is that although you can click on this link to go to the template page, you can't copy the markup to use in another place. {{tl}} is just more convenient.
